• Buyer Beware, The field of dog training is unfortunately completely unregulated with no set of standards as to what constitutes effective, safe, reliable and humane training. Anyone can hang out a sign saying they are a dog trainer. Many trainers will do whatever it takes to get your dog to behave to prove their training “works” – including shock collars, prong collars, spray bottles, hitting them, alpha rolling them over, using rolled up magazines etc. These methods will often create fear and aggression slowing down the learning process for the dog & you stand a strong chance of making your dog’s issues worse.

We had a call from someone who sent her Maltese away to a “certified trainer” for training & her little dog returned a nervous wreck. We had a local trainer who tried to use our clients' puppies to rehabilitate dogs with serious dog-dog aggression issues. This does not meet ethical or professional standards for our industry.

Cancellation Policy

We want to provide the highest level of personal care and training for your furry family members and to ensure there is sufficient space for your dog. In essence, through booking into daycare, private lessons, doggy nanny 9-1-1 or classes, you are reserving a spot for your dog in that service. In light of this, there is no cash value for daycare memberships or for lessons not completed. All services are non-refundable, non-transferable once payment is made/or first session attended.  We also regret we cannot extend expiry dates on services as our staffing is booked accordingly. If there is no expiry stipulated on the service you purchase, we are happy to offer you one calendar year from the commencement of the service to complete the service.
